JANESVILLE – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) released data this week that showed 64% of Wisconsin businesses had a negative financial impact from COVID-19 and the subsequent government shutdowns.
Nick Novak, VP of Communications at WMC, joined 1230AM WCLO in Janesville to discuss the release of this data and talk about how the business community is coming back from the pandemic.
While Novak referenced the negative impacts from COVID-19, he explained that businesses are now looking to hire. While the pandemic is less of a concern as vaccine rates increase, now employers are struggling to hire workers.
